2512 Mission St · Wed–Sun · Wine bar + plant boutique
A 1920s shoe store with 20-foot ceilings, wrought iron Naz forged herself, and a list that pours from Loire to Etna.
The Space
Naz Khorram came to San Francisco as an Iranian asylum-seeker. She trained as a metalworker. The wrought iron in this room — the staircase, the bridge above the bar, the brackets you'll trace with your eyes after the second glass — is hers. She built the structure first. The wine bar came after, opened in 2019, wrapped around the metal like a vine.
By day the room is a plant boutique: kokedama, monstera, fig trees, soft afternoon light through the skylight. By night the lights drop, the candles come up, the records start, and Mission regulars take their stools. Two identities, one address. Both run by Naz.
"I welded the railings before I knew what I'd pour off them." — Naz

The Kitchen
Iranian roots, California seasons, built to share. Adriana cooks. The room eats. Vegetable-forward, with seafood and lamb.

Soppressata salami on fresh-baked focaccia with chermoula, tzatziki, pickled onions. Built to chase the last glass.

Service
Adriana plates. Cat pours. The room hums.
Daytime
Before the wine bar, there were the plants. Anna Trautman curates the nursery side — kokedama balls strung from copper hooks, monstera leaves the size of a face, fig trees that have outgrown three apartments. Stop in Wednesday through Sunday afternoon. Take a plant home. Come back at night for the wine.
